Donald Trump’s tweets read in the voice of the Joker sound even more sinister.
Mark Hamill, who voiced the character in “Batman: The Animated Series,” took one of the tweets by the president-elect and put a whole new spin on it.
“The Trumpster quote #1#ANewJeersToast,” tweeted the “Star Wars” actor on Sunday. Hamill chose Trump’s New Year’s
“Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don’t know what to do,” Hamill quoted, adding “Love!”

According to Rolling Stone, the idea came from comedy writer Matt Oswalt, who tweeted on Dec. 31 that Trump’s New Year’s message sounded “like something the Joker would say right before releasing a swarm of killer bees into Gotham.”
On Saturday, the comedian tweeted, “BILLION DOLLAR IDEA: an App that you can feed every Trump tweet into that plays it back in @HamillHimself Joker voice.” Hamill responded, “As soon as I figure out how to tweet soundbites, I’d LOVE to. Nobody writes better super-villain dialogue than #Trumputin! #KremlinCandidate.”
Hamill has been highly critical of Trump, recently criticizing his cabinet picks.
“I’m in total denial,” Mark Hamill told the Daily Beast while giving his thoughts on the whole election.
“I’m glad I have [the show] to take my mind off what’s going on,” the man who plays Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars” continued. “Because if you look at what’s being assembled for our government it’s like, yikes. It’s a who’s-who of really despicable people.”
