Poor Martin Freeman — he was so proud of that “Hobbit” joke too.
“SNL” veteran Kenan Thompson joined the “Fargo” Season 1 star and his musical guest Charli XCX on stage for the latest round of “Saturday Night Live” promos, where the sketch comedy player praised Freeman’s work in “The Hobbit” film series.
Freeman thanked his famous fan, adding: “It’s the last one, so I guess you could say I’m trying to … kick ‘The Hobbit.’”
Thompson got angry, yelling: “No! You do not do that here!”
Later, the trio tried a really unsuccessful Secret Santa.
“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” appears in theaters on Dec. 17.
