Martin Scorsese Gets Warm and Fuzzy for ‘Hugo’ Trailer (Video)

“Taxi Driver” director goes kid-friendly with his latest effort

Martin Scorsese, family-friendly director?

The man who brought the world "Taxi Driver" and "Goodfellas" takes a radical — though politely so — new turn with his latest production, "Hugo" (in theaters November 23). Venturing into Steven Spielberg territory, Scorsese presents the charming tale of a 12-year-old orphan who lives in the walls of a train station and becomes involved in an enchanting mystery involving his late father and a robot.

Even typically raunchy "Borat" funny man Sacha Baron Cohen manages to behave himself in this one, delivering a slapstick turn as a clumsy guard.
