Ratings: Disappointing ‘Agent Carter’ Premiere Places ABC in Fifth

CW’s “Legends of Tomorrow” preview also can’t do much damage at 9 o’clock

Tuesday was not a heroic night for Marvel or DC. ABC’s “Agent Carter” returned for a weak season premiere, while “Legends of Tomorrow” couldn’t do much with a 9 p.m. ET preview over on the CW.

ABC finished fifth in the key 18-49 demographic but managed a better third place among total viewers. “Agent Carter,” which was pushed back a week due to President Obama’s final State of the Union Address, settled for a series low.

The CW was actually third in the demo, thanks to “The Flash,” and finished fourth in overall eyeballs. Its half-hour snapshot of the upcoming “Legends” featured interviews with producers and clips that introduced characters.

CBS finished first in primetime per both Nielsen metrics.
