‘Masters of Sex,’ ‘Ray Donovan’ Get Season 2 Premiere Dates

“Masters of Sex” shifts to summer

Showtime’s “Masters of Sex” and “Ray Donovan” will return for their sophomore seasons on July 13, the network said Wednesday.

“Ray Donovan” will premiere at 9 p.m., while “Masters of Sex” will follow at 10 p.m.

The premiere date for “Masters of Sex” marks a move to summer for the series, which stars Michael Sheen as sex researcher William Masters. The series, which also stars Lizzy Caplan, debuted in September 2013, while the Mark Gordon Company-produced “Ray Donovan” premiered last June.

Both series will run 12 one-hour episodes for their second seasons.

The upcoming second season of “Masters of Sex” will bolster its cast with “Breaking Bad” alum Betsy Brandt and “True Jackson, VP” star Keke Palmer.
