Jackson produced “Parkland” and “End of Watch”
IM Global hired former Exclusive Media executive Matt Jackson as its president of production, the company said Monday. Jackson will oversee all development and production at the company, reporting to CEO Stuart Ford.
Jackson most recently served as Exclusive's head of US production, producing the JFK drama “Parkland,” David Ayer's Los Angeles cop tale “End of Watch” and “Dark Places,” the upcoming adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel.
The former Paramount and Universal executive also worked on the “Bourne” and “American Pie” franchises.
“Matt has an outstanding reputation and track record in the industry and we hope that his talent relationships and producerial know how will greatly enhance our already thriving production and financing activities,” Ford said in a statement.
The sales and financing company has financed and produced a handful of films over the past few years, including “Insidious,” “Dredd” and “A Haunted House.” Forthcoming IM Global productions include “Autobahn,” George Nolfi's “One Minute to Midnight” and “Pest,” a genre picture made in partnership with Blumhouse Productions.
