“Perks of Being a Wallflower” took home the top movie honors at the 24th annual GLAAD Media Awards held Saturday night in Los Angeles.
"The New Normal” and its daytime drama "Days of Our Lives,” both from NBC, were big winners on the TV side, along with FX's thriller "American Horror Story: Asylum."
The GLAAD awards pay tribute to “inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.”
