Michael Eisner's Vuguru studio has signed an output deal with Fireworks International, in which Fireworks gains a first-look opportunity to acquire international multiplatform distribution rights to all Vuguru productions.
Fireworks will get a minimum of 10 promects as part of the two-year deal. First project is "Pretty Tough," a young-adult drama.
“Fireworks’ financial commitment demonstrates the appetite that exists among distributors for premium content," said Vuguru president Larry Tanz in a statement. "We are very pleased to cement our strong relationship with this exciting new deal and look forward to seeing Vuguru properties available to audiences on all platforms throughout the world.”
