Oxygen Media named Harleen Kahlon senior vice president of digital, the network announced Tuesday.
Kahlon, who is based in New York, will lead the digital team, developing plans for the release of new and returning series on digital platforms.
She also will create sales strategies to increase revenue growth across the company's online platforms, including Oxygen.com and Oxygen Mobile.
Kahlon will continue to focus on the social media presence she helped build, including Oxygen Live and Oxygen Connect.
“Harleen will continue to build upon Oxygen’s tremendous growth on all platforms, super-serving our young, digitally focused, socially savvy audience,” President Jason Klarman said in a statement. “Harleen’s experience in this space will allow her to drive digital innovation and develop our live out loud brand and business, bringing the fully interactive experience that our audiences both craves and expects."
Before joining Oxygen, Kahlon was executive vice president of business development, marketing and content strategy for Bundle Corporation, a joint venture between Citi MSN and Morningstar.
Prior to that, she worked on the business side of the New York Observer, serving as general manager of digital for Observer Media Group.
