New CEO Marissa Mayer continues executive shifts by ousting the longtime HR official
David Windley, Yahoo's human resources head, has agreed to leave Yahoo amid a series of executive shakeups begun by newly minted CEO Marissa Mayer.
HR executive Kristen Robinson is taking over on an interim basis, according to a report by AllThingsD's Kara Swisher.
Windley oversaw a series of layoffs at Yahoo and a number of executive changes. Swisher said his tenure was marked by a "brain drain" at the company.
Yahoo did not respond to calls and emails from TheWrap for comment.
Mayer, who replaced interim CEO Ross Levinsohn at the ailing internet giant, has been restructuring the top ranks of Yahoo since her arrival last month from Google
Last week, Mayer poached longtime Google public relations executive Anne Espiritu — her first hire from the search engine behemoth since arriving at Yahoo.
