I had a blast this morning talking about Joe Adalian's Wrappish scoop regarding the final final final exit package for Conan O'Brien on both CBS's "The Early Show" and MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

Video Below:

No Joe (Scarborough) this morning -- though lots of Starbucks cups and, I guess, coffee (Howard Schultz you will be pleased). Substitute host Bill Geist did manage to introduce me as the editor of TheRat.com before catching himself. Bill, I know you didn't mean it.

Rollicking good time to discuss all this at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, at the headquarters of the very network that is being skewered on every news show coast to coast, and come to think of it, every variety talk show from coast to coast as well.

Photo at left is in the green room, that's Time editor Rick Stengel's publicist on her BlackBerry, and author Jim Wallis, clucking over John Edwards' admission that he is the father of Rielle Hunter's baby. (Can you believe how many times that man has publicly lied? Not Wallis, the other one.)

Here's proof that I may be the worst photographer in the world, Stengel rubbing elbows with Rudy Giuliani, both of whom were at the Morning Joe roundtable.

My favorite moment: when Rick told co-anchors Geist and Mike Barnicle that they needed to sign up to get Wrap news alerts. Fantastic.
