Conan O’Brien makes his historic leap (or is it fall?) from late night broadcast television to cable next week. On Monday night, O’Brien unveiled a preview of “Conan” – dubbed “Show Zero” -- on his TeamCoco website.
It wasn’t so much a preview as a low-budget run-through of a generic hour-long talk show compressed into four minutes (one monologue joke, one question for “Big Bang Theory” actor Jim Parsons, his first guest, and one note from the band Steel Train). More than anything, it was another hors d'oeuvre from TBS to whet the appetite of the Team Coco faithful.
The online-only show was sponsored by Diet Coke (not sure why it wasn’t Coke Zero).
