FBI's Website Finally Declares Osama Bin Laden 'Deceased'

For several hours after President Obama's historic announcement that the United States had located and killed Osama Bin Laden in a successful raid, the Al-Qaeda leader was still listed on the "Ten Most Wanted" list on Federal Bureau of Investigations' website.

Sometime around 9:00 a.m. (ET), the FBI updated his online profile, declaring "Usama" Bin Laden "deceased." (I’m guessing the FBI was either waiting for the DNA tests to positively ID Bin Laden before updating the page, or their webmaster works a typical 9-to-5.)

The bureau has yet to replace him on its "Ten Most Wanted."

According to the FBI, the U.S. had been offering a reward of up to $25 million "for information leading directly to the apprehension or conviction of Usama Bin Laden." It's not clear if anyone will get all or part of that reward.

But if it were up to me, I'd divvy up the bounty between members of the Navy Seals' so-called "Team Six" that carried out the president's orders.
