Quick update to Monday’s story on Gawker’s moves: Foster Kamer, the site’s weekend editor and an associate editor at BlackBook, announced via Twitter that he’s leaving Nick Denton’s G-Unit for the Village Voice:

So, here it goes: I'm leaving Gawker in two weeks, it's got nothing to do with Gabriel Snyder's departure, and I've had a great, great time.

Kamer told TheWrap he’ll be blogging -- as well as engaging in “general troublemaking” -- alongside Roy Edroso on the paper’s Runnin’ Scared blog.

Ironically, it was Kamer who lambasted Village Voice editor Tony Ortega last May, after Ortega posted an item about Gawker’s treatment of Ian Spiegelman – a former weekend editor himself -- on that same Runnin’ Scared blog. Title of Kamer’s post: "Old Person Blogs Thing Nobody Cares About."

Kamer starts there March 1.
