Julian Assange won an appeal and was granted bail by a London court on Thursday.
The WikiLeaks founder has been held for more than a week in connection with an alleged sex crimes case in Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning. Assange and his lawyer have denied wrongdoing, and have vowed to fight extradition.
Assange is expected to be released shortly, and will be under a nightly house arrest until his next court appearance, scheduled for January.
Assange, who was initially denied bail after turning himself in to Scotland Yard, had been granted bail on Tuesday, but Swedish lawyers filed an appeal.
On Thursday, the judge ruled that Assange must post $310,000 bail and a pair of "sureties" of about $31,500 each. Filmmaker Michael Moore put up $20,000 to help bail out Assange.
Assange must also wear an electronic monitoring device.
