Seth MacFarlane, the creative mind behind "Family Guy," says that when he writes a joke, he often has very specific idea of "how that joke needs to sing." And that's why he refers to himself as a "control freak."

Speaking at the TheWrap's annual industry conference TheGrill, MacFarlane offered insight into his creative process with his hit TV show, as well as his first movie, "Ted."
