"Cybergeddon" follows an agent investigating a series of cyber crimes
Yahoo squeezed cyber crime, lingerie and rapid-fire action into its new 97-second trailer for “Cybergeddon,” the upcoming web series from “CSI” creator Anthony Zuiker.
“Cybergeddon” is one of the more ambitious web projects to date, a symbol of Yahoo’s recent commitment to high-quality video content from high-profile creators like Zuiker. Another such example is Tom Hanks' upcoming "Electric City," an animated, dystopic sci-fi project.
"Cybergeddon" is feature film in length but will be released in nine parts — three parts per day for three straight days. It debuts Sept. 25 in more than 25 countries.
The show stars Missy Peregrym as Chloe Jocelyn, a government agent investigating cyber attacks with the help of a fellow agent and an incarcerated hacker. Olivier Martinez plays Gustov Dobreff, the head of a global confederacy of cyber criminals.
