Showtime's killer hit drama "Dexter" returns for its eighth and final season on June 30, and it looks like Debra, the titular serial killer's sister, is heading for hard times.

In a new trailer released for the series, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter), who last season got further drawn into Dexter's world with the killing of Maria LaGuerta, engages in all sorts of self-destructive behavior. Sniffing coke? Yep. Hooking up with a skeevy dude? Uh-huh. Getting arrested for DUI? Oh, goodness, yes...

J.J. Abrams, who's directing the next installment of the "Star Wars" film series, dropped in on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night. And, while he was on hand to direct his most recent movie, "Star Trek Into Darkness," the resurrection of George Lucas' space saga was also a topic of conversation. And there was no shortage of voices happy to weigh in with advice for Abrams.
