Ian Somerhalder Joins Cast of 'The Anomaly'

Vampires do have extended lives. "Vampire Diaries" star has joined the cast of action thriller “The Anomaly.” 

Directed by Noel Clarke and written by Simon Lewis, “The Anomaly” follows the travails of a traumatized ex-soldier who wakes up in the back of a van alongside a kidnapped boy, to find that he only has only nine minutes and 37 seconds of consciousness to work out why and how he got there.

Clarke is also producing and acting in “The Anomaly” alongside Brian Cox (“The Bourne Ultimatum,” “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), Luke Hemsworth (“Neighbours”) and Alexis Knapp (“Pitch Perfect,” “Project X”).

Alyssa Milano to Host Season 3 of 'Project Runway All Stars'

Alyssa Milano will be the season 3 host of “Project Runway All Stars,” her publicist confirmed to TheWrap on Monday.

Milano -- who takes over for previous host Carolyn Murphy -- boasts her own sports-themed clothing and jewelry line, Touch by Alyssa Milano. Her mother, Lin, is a fashion designer.

The former “Charmed” star will be the third host in as many seasons (Angela Lindvall had the inaugural gig).

Fox Searchlight Buys Jude Law Crime Comedy

Fox Searchlight has acquired North American rights to "Dom Hemingway," the studio said Monday.

Manny Montana, star of USA Network's new series, "Graceland," just booked a supporting role on producer and director Michael Mann's "Cyber," TheWrap has learned exclusively.

An insider with knowledge of the project told us that the production is guarding the movie's script  -- we hear some of its actors haven't even been able to read it. All we were able to learn about Montana's role is that he plays Lozano, a "wanted criminal."

Tribeca Film Acquires ‘The Time Being’ Starring Wes Bentley, Frank Langella

Tribeca Film has acquired the domestic distribution rights to “The Time Being,” Nenad Cicin-Sain’s film about a struggling artist (Wes Bentley) and his relationship with a reclusive millionaire (Frank Langella), the company announced on Friday.

Tribeca will release the film via video-on-demand first, beginning July 23, before it hits select theaters on July 26.

Bentley stars as Daniel, who after selling one of his paintings to Werner (Langella), seeks additional commissions. Werner gives him a strange assortment of assignments instead, which raises the question of whether Werner wants to help or hurt him.

Sarah Paulson, Ahna O’Reilly, Corey Stoll and Gina Gallego also star.

The film premiered at the 2012 International Film Festival.
