Hurricane Sandy slammed the East Coast Monday, downing trees and power lines, causing widespread flooding and resulting in as many as 16 deaths. As the storm pounded the region, residents and media personalities like "Good Morning America" anchor Lara Spencer took to Twitter and Instagram to share images of the destruction. In addition to shots of rising tides and tattered store fronts, people were quick to note that Monday's super storm had given way to a dazzling rainbow -- a reason for optimism amid the wreckage?
