Ted Sarandos has led content acquisition for Netflix since 2000. With more than 20 years experience in home entertainment, Sarandos is recognized as an innovator in film acquisition and distribution. Sarandos established Netflix as a successful film distributor while it grew to 9.4 million subscribers in 2008. During his tenure, the Netflix library increased from 2,000 to 100,000 DVDs and more than 12,000 movies and TV episodes available to watch instantly.
