Richardson has a reputation for getting close with his subjects.
Terry Richardson has photographed James Franco before, but never with this much makeup. The photo shoot was done for Candy Magazine, the "first fashion magazine ever completely dedicated to celebrating transvestism, transexuality, cross dressing and androgyny, in all its manifestations."
The magazine won't hit newsstands until Oct. 24, so Richardson was kind enough to post some shots on his blog, Terry's Diary.
