Ratings: ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ ‘Once Upon a Time’ Hit Lows as CBS Takes Night With NCAA

ABC's "Red Widow" rises 20 percent

NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" dropped to a season low and ABC's "Once Upon a Time" to a series low Sunday as CBS won the night thanks largely to NCAA basketball coverage, according to preliminary numbers.

Though CBS's numbers are approximate due to the nature of live sports, the network currently holds the top ratings spot with a 2.4 rating/6 share in the key 18-49 demographic. It also leads in total viewers with 10.1 million. Overrun from the network's NCAA basketball coverage from 7 to 7:30 p.m. had a 4.1/13 and 13.1 million total viewers. Further NCAA overrun combined with "60 Minutes" at 7:30 drew a 2.7/8 and 10.3 million total viewers. The continuation of "60 Minutes" at 8 p.m. posted a 2.5/7 with 10.8 million total viewers, while the conclusion of "60 Minutes" coupled with the beginning of "The Amazing Race" at 8:30 had a 2.3/6 with 9.8 million total viewers. "The Amazing Race" continued through the 9 p.m. timeslot with a 2.3/5 and 9.7 million total viewers. The 9:30 timeslot, which was occupied by the conclusion of "The Amazing Race" combined with the beginning of "The Good Wife," had a 1.8/4 with 9 million total viewers, while the continuation of "The Good Wife" at 10 p.m. drew a 1.7/4 and took 9.5 million total viewers. "The Good Wife" conclusion shared the 10:30 timeslot with "The Mentalist," scoring a 1.4/5 with 8.8 million total viewers.

Fox took second place in ratings and fourth in total viewers with a 1.7/4 and 3.6 million. The network ran repeats until "Bob's Burgers" at 8:30, which drew even with last week for a 1.7/4 and took 3.7 million total viewers. "Family Guy" at 9 was up slightly for a 2.6/6 with 5.1 million total viewers. "American Dad" at 9:30 jumped 21 percent from its last original five weeks ago, taking a 2.3/5 and took 4.5 million total viewers.

ABC came in third in ratings and second in total viewers with a 1.6/4 and 6.2 million total viewers. "America's Funniest Home Videos at 7 drew a 1.3/4 and took 6.9 million total viewers, while "Once Upon a Time" at 8 dipped to a series low of 2.1/6 and drew 7.3 million total viewers. "Revenge" the following hour had a 1.8/4 and took 6.1 million total viewers." Red Widow" at 10 was up 20 percent to a still-weak 1.2/3 and drew 4.5 million total viewers.

NBC was fourth in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.3/4 and 5.6 million. "Dateline" at 7 dropped 15 percent to a 1.1/3 and took 6.1 million total viewers, while "The Celebrity Apprentice" dropped off 17 percent to a season low of 1.5/4 and had 5.1 million total viewers.
