Dan Abrams’ year-old Mediaite has lost its second editor in as many weeks. Steve Krakauer, the site’s senior editor and TV reporter, has been named digital producer of CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.”
Jonathan Wald, the show’s newish executive producer, said Krakauer “will be instrumental in driving ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ beyond its one hour of television and into a more active online experience.”
The show is slated to debut in January. Krakauer starts next week.

Abrams announced last week that Mediaite cracked the Top 10 U.S. blogs on Technorati.
