“Megyn Kelly Today” got off to a solid start on Monday, as the former Fox News personality debuted her new NBC morning show.
Megyn Kelly’s third hour of the “Today” show nabbed 2.932 million total viewers, with 917,000 viewers among adults aged 25 to 54.
This topped the 2.8 million total viewers for time-slot competitor “Live With Kelly and Ryan.”
Kelly’s show has already been making headlines for her guests’ reactions to the first few episodes.
Debra Messing said she was “dismayed” by Kelly’s “Will & Grace” segment, while Jane Fonda took issue with a question about plastic surgery.
Kelly announced in January that she would be leaving Fox News, her home since 2004. She launched her show “The Kelly File” on the cable channel in 2013.
“Megyn Kelly Today” airs weekdays at 9 a.m. on NBC.
