President Trump will name Crossroads Media founder Mike Dubke as his White House Communications Director, according to multiple media reports. The appointment could come as early as today.
Dubke will replace Jason Miller, who stepped down shortly after he was selected for the role in December. At the time, Miller cited a desire to spend more time with his family as the reason for his decision.
TheWrap‘s requests for comment from Trump’s camp and another to Dubke directly were not immediately returned.
Crossroads Media is a conservative media services firm “specializing in advertising strategy and placement for political candidates, issue advocacy organizations and trade associations,” per its website. “On behalf of its clients, CRM has planned and executed more than $200 million dollars of political media buys at the national, state and local levels.”

Mike served as the Co-Founder and President of Americans for Job Security (AJS), helping the organization become active in over 45 states and spend more than $55 million in direct issue advocacy. Prior to co-founding AJS, Mike held the position of Executive Director of both the Ripon Society and the Ripon Educational Fund. As executive director, he oversaw the growth of the TransAtlantic Conference and the re-emergence of the Ripon Society as a participant in national politics.
Today, Mike is also a Founding Partner at the Black Rock Group, a strategic communications and public affairs firm, based in Alexandria, VA. He is a graduate of Hamilton College, a Buffalo Bills season ticket holder and resident of Alexandria, VA, where he lives with his wife, Shannon, and their two children.
