Miles Teller on Lending Clothes to One-Night Stands: ‘You Will Not Get That Sh-t Back’

“If you don’t think you’re going to see them again, do not let them take a shirt and shorts,” says the “Two Night Stand” actor

Miles Teller spends an awkward afternoon with a previous night’s hook-up in his upcoming film “Two Night Stand” and the actor admitted this role hits close to home.

“I haven’t necessarily been in a situation completely dissimilar,” he told GQ Magazine.

Teller’s character Alec has a one night stand with Analeigh Tipton in the forthcoming rom-com, but when he tries to give her the boot the next morning he’s thwarted by inclement weather. The actor put on a dapper leather coat (which can apparently be purchased for less than $400!)  for his GQ photo shoot and offered up free advice for what one should do in real life the morning after a one-night stand.

“You should always try and be a gentleman,” said the actor whose credits include “The Spectacular Now,” “That Awkward Moment” and “Divergent.”  “Just be very delicate with your words. But also, if you don’t think you’re going to see them again, do not let them take a shirt and shorts. Because you will not get that shit back.”
