The British actress joins Marvin "Meat Loaf" Aday, Allie MacDonald and Douglas Smith in the production. Jerome Sable (“The Legend of Beaver Dam”) will direct from his own script. Sable also composed the music and co-wrote the lyrics with Eli Batalion.

The film will begin shooting on Sept. 6 in Canada.

“Stage Fright” tells the story of a posh musical theater camp terrorized by a killer who hates musicals. Driver plays Kylie Swanson, a haunted star of the Broadway stage and mother of two siblings who find themselves at the center of the unfolding horror at the camp. Meat Loaf plays Roger McCall, a slumming Broadway producer-turned-camp director.

“It’s a real thrill to have Minnie and Meat Loaf join our talented cast of singers and actors as we bring this horror-musical to life,” Sable said. "I couldn't be more excited."

“Stage Fright” is a Serendipity Point Films production with Ari Lantos and Jonas Bell Pasht (“You Might as Well Live”) producing. Mark Musselman (“Being Julia,” “Barney's Version”) will executive produce. eOne Films has acquired Canadian rights, and Celluloid Nightmares is handling international sales.
