‘Modern Family’ Star Sarah Hyland Joins Tyler Posey as ‘Teen Choice’ Awards Co-Host

Taylor Swift, Victoria Justice, Ian Somerhalder and Ariana Grande will also appear at this year’s ceremony

“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland has been tapped to join Tyler Posey as the host of this year’s “Teen Choice 2014” Awards.

This year’s ceremony will air live on Fox Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. ET, with a tape delay for the west coast. The show will include a number of new categories aimed at recognizing stars on social media and the internet.

In addition to Hyland coming aboard as co-host, the show has added a number of additional celebrities who are scheduled to be in attendance, including singer Taylor Swift, Victoria Justice, Iam Somerhalder and Ariana Grande. Stars who had previously been scheduled to attend include Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Josh Hutcherson, Kevin Hart and Bella Thorne.

Performers at this year’s ceremony include  Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, MAGIC! and Rixton.

As previously reported by TheWrap, a Bob Bain Productions employee and UCLA employee confirmed that the awards will not be held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion due to damage from Tuesday’s water main break. A new venue has yet to be announced.
