In addition to Hyland coming aboard as co-host, the show has added a number of additional celebrities who are scheduled to be in attendance, including singer Taylor Swift, Victoria Justice, Iam Somerhalder and Ariana Grande. Stars who had previously been scheduled to attend include Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Josh Hutcherson, Kevin Hart and Bella Thorne.

As previously reported by TheWrap, a Bob Bain Productions employee and UCLA employee confirmed that the awards will not be held at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion due to damage from Tuesday's water main break. A new venue has yet to be announced.
