Mo’Nique to Reveal Oscar Nominations

Last year’s Supporting Actress winner will join Academy president Tom Sherak for early-morning press conference

It's safe to say that she's not getting paid this time.

Mo'NiqueActress, comedian and talk show host Mo'Nique, who won the 2009 Best Supporting Actress Oscar for "Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire," will join AMPAS president Tom Sherak to announce the nominees for the 83rd Academy Awards, the Academy announced on Tuesday.

Mo'Nique was the subject of controversy last year because of reports, which she denied, that she declined to make appearances on behalf of her film unless she was paid. 

On Tuesday, January 25, Mo'Nique and Sherak will reveal nominees in 10 of the Oscars' 24 categories  in a 5:38 a.m. announcement from AMPAS headquarters in Beverly Hills.
