Morgan White Joins Sundial Pictures as VP of Production, Development (Exclusive)

The former Caliber Media exec joins the company behind "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" and "Pariah"

Morgan White has been named VP of production and development at Sundial Pictures, the company run by Stefan Nowicki and Joey Carey that produced of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" and "Pariah," TheWrap has learned.

Her hiring signals an expansion at Sundial, which also produced "28 Hotel Rooms" and "Little Birds." The company's most recent release was Brian Brightly's thriller "Liars All," which was released by Phase 4 Films.

White previously worked at Caliber Media, where she co-produced the horror movie "Dark Was the Night" while serving as the company's director of production and development.

Prior to Caliber, White worked at 20th Century Fox as a coordinator in the feature production department, where she worked on movies including "X-Men: First Class," "Night at the Museum," "Unstoppable" and "The A-Team."

Sundial is currently in post-production on "Dark Was the Night," a documentary about communication technologies titled "Web" and the dark comedy "Obvious Child," which stars Jenny Slate.
