In France, “Basterds” lead the charge with $6.1, and in Germany it won the crown with $4.3 million. It was also the top film in Australia, with $2.7 million. In total, it lead 12 different markets.

“Basterds” will be rolling out through the fall, culminating in a Japanese release in December. Next weekend includes opening in Argentina and Denmark.
