Former SVP of production jumps into a newly created position overseeing production of the company's "homegrown titles"
The reorganization of CBS Films continues.
Two days after announcing new co-presidents, Terry Press and Wolfgang Hammer, the company has promoted Maria Faillace to EVP of Production, the company announced on Wednesday.
Faillace was previously SVP of production. In the newly created position she will oversee production of the company's "homegrown titles."
“Maria is insightful, hard-working and incredibly passionate about the business of making movies,” Press said in a statement. “She has strong relationships throughout the industry and a healthy respect for filmmakers.”
Faillace oversaw a bevy of projects as SVP, including the upcoming horror thriller “7500” from director Takashi Shimizu.
Prior to joining CBS Films, Faillace worked at Fox for eight years, eventually ascending to the role of VP of production.
