Russell Crowe stormed out on a BBC Radio interview (audio in the video player below) after the host suggested that Crowe was affecting an Irish/Northern English accent. Less than respectfully, Crowe disagrees.

It brings to mind the Kevin Costner "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" debacle of 1991, in which the actor begins the movie with a quasi-British accent that he abandons about halfway through the movie.
