Lindsay Lohan has been dropped from her role in the upcoming feature "The Other Side," TMZ reported Sunday.
The film, starring Woody Harrelson, Jason Lee, Anjelica Huston and Eddie Izzard, is about a science scholar who solves a bizarre mystery on a remote island. It was set for a 2010 release.
Writer-director David Michaels told TMZ that his team "simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we'll soon be announcing a replacement." But TMZ, citing sources connected with the film, reported that money backers were skittish about relying on the troubled actress.
