More 'Up' Time Atop International Box Office

"Up" took it to the house for the fifth week in overseas markets, hauling in $19 million in 26 territories. The top 3 spots in foreign markets went to U.S. kids films.

Another Disney powerhouse, "G-Force," cruised to $8 million in 35 markets, good for second place.

"Up's" overseas total now sits at $324 million, while "G-Force" has amassed $139 million.

Sony's "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" cooked up $7 million in 50 markets, with an overseas cume of $43.3 million

As for the weekend's openers:

-- "Saw IV" tooled its way to a $5 million take in eight markets for Mandate International.

-- Burrowing into U.K. cinemas was Fox's "Fantastic Mr. Fox," which capered its way to $2.6 million in the country.

-- Universal's "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant" helped itself to $2.9 million in three markets.

At No. 4 for the week was France's "Lucky Luke," a wild west comic book adaptation, which reached No. 1 in its homeland premiere, at $6.2 million.

Coming fifth was Sony's "The Ugly Truth," still sitting pretty at $5.8 million from 64 markets.
