The Motion Picture Association of America announced Monday that David England has been named its new executive VP and chief financial officer, replacing Lisa Pierozzi.

England, a former Simon and Schuster executive and USC graduate, will report to MPAA president and interim CEO Bob Pisano.

"We are pleased to welcome David to the MPAA," Pisano said, in a statement. "He brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the entertainment industry, which will be an invaluable asset to our organization.
