The Motion Picture Association of America announced Monday that David England has been named its new executive VP and chief financial officer, replacing Lisa Pierozzi.
England, a former Simon and Schuster executive and USC graduate, will report to MPAA president and interim CEO Bob Pisano.
"We are pleased to welcome David to the MPAA," Pisano said, in a statement. "He brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the entertainment industry, which will be an invaluable asset to our organization. I also want to thank Lisa for the substantial contribution she made to our organization and wish her well in her future endeavors.
According to the MPAA statement, Pierozzi left to pursue other opportunities.
