Outside of North America, “Clash of the Titans” is still a major smash.

Though the 3D mythology reboot has fallen to 6th at home with $9 million this weekend, 60 overseas markets were holding the Warners action-epic in the No. 1 spot with $32 million at more than 10,000 screens.

“Titans” hasn’t given up the offshore top spot since it debuted a month ago. It now stands at $240.4 million from the foreign circuit. Of that, 64 percent of receipts were from 3D venues – despite the much-criticized conversion from 2D.

Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland,” in the foreign market for twice as long as “Titans,” took $26.7 million to boost its offshore gross to $548.5 million – the 17th best-earning title ever to play overseas. The film has now grossed $876 million worldwide, good for 18th place.

DreamWorks Animation's “How to Train Your Dragon,” the domestic box-office winner with $15 million in a lackluster weekend for North American cinema, was No. 3 in foreign markets with $11 million at 6,671 venues in 60 markets.

Fourth was “Camping 2,” a comedy sequel about a working stiff who takes his girlfriend camping, on the strength of a first-place finish in France. The Pathe film grossed $10 million.

Rounding out the top five was another him-and-her comedy, Fox’s “Date Night,” which took in $7 million – including a No. 1 open in the U.K. ($1.89 million).
