Extradite him? Or let it go? Hollywood is divided. TheWrap brings you both sides of the debate.
Everyone in Hollywood has an opinion on Roman Polanski.
Many feel the matter should be put to rest — so much time has passed, and the director’s personal horrors have been punishment enough, they say. Even Samantha Geimer, the woman who accused him of having sex with her when she was 13, has filed for a dismissal of the charges.
Others argue that authorities must see his case to the end: No one is above the law, and Polanski’s debt to society must be paid if we’re committed to protecting children from sexual predators, or valuing the contributions of women.
