Rapper T.I. and his wife were arrested in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday, charged with possession of methamphetamines.
According to the Associated Press, T.I. -- whose real name is Clifford Harris -- and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, were pulled over after police smelled marijuana coming from the car.
The couple each posted $10,000 bail and were released at approximately 4:00 a.m., sheriff deputy Luis Castro said.
The arrest comes just five months after the Grammy-winning artist was released from prison. He was convicted of weapons possession, serving seven months federal prison and three months in a Georgia halfway house. T.I. is currently serving three years probation stemming from that conviction.
The 29-year-old has a role in the movie "Takers." Cottle, 36, starred in the BET reality series "The Tiny & Toya Show."
"Right now," T.I. told the AP in July, "it's all about moving forward and just acknowledging the blessings that are here today. ... Just moving past the regrets of yesterday — the things that could've been done better."
