Bright and Klenert's firm will represent Hyde Park, Das Films, and publicity for film festivals and theatrical releases
Veteran publicist Erik Bright (left) and indie studio excutive Alex Klenert are launching a new public relations agency: Prodigy PR. The company will focus on publicity, film distribution, and event management needs for studios, filmmakers, actors, producers, and production companies, the pair announced on Friday.
Among their initial roster of corporate clients are Hyde Park Entertainment, Das Films, PCB Productions with Keith Arem, Nuclear Mango, Scenechronize, Seventh Synchrony, Variance Films, and XYZ Films. The company will also represent film festival campaigns such as the premiere of "Open House" at Tribeca and "Suck" at the Canadian Front Series at MoMA. They'll also handle publicity for the theatrical releases of "Women Without Men" and "Spoken Word."
Bright previously was a partner at Insignia, while Klenert recently served as Vice President of Publicity at THINKFilm. Prodigy will operate out of Santa Monica with publicists Sheryl Tirol and Emilie Chan, as well as a team of support staff.
