The Weinstein Co. has shifted the release date of Rob Marshall-directed musical "Nine."
"Nine" had been set to open Nov. 25, but it now will see a limited bow Dec. 18 in New York and Los Angeles before going wide on Dec. 25.
That takes "Nine" out of direct competition with "The Road," the post-apocalyptic road pic that the Weinstein Co. has set to open Nov. 25.
