Andrew Garfield will assume the role of tights-clad web-slinger Spider-Man from Tobey Maguire next July, when the superhero-movie reboot "The Amazing Spider-Man" hits the big screen in a blue-and-red flurry of arachnid glory. While a few tantalizing glimpses in the form of still photos have given an idea of what kind of spin he'll put on the iconic part, a new teaser-trailer for the movie gives a better indication of Garfield's take on things.

"The Amazing Spider-Man," directed by appropriately-named helmsman Marc Webb, co-stars Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and Rhys Ifans and Irrfan Khan as the villainous Lizard and Proto-Goblin, respectively.
