Brad Pitt is playing hardball in his latest movie.
Pitt portrays Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Beane in the upcoming baseball drama "Moneyball," which tracks Beane's successful efforts to make the A's a cost-effective team through the use of computer-generated analysis.
The film, which also stars Jonah Hill, Robin Wright and Philip Seymour Hoffman, hits theaters on Sept. 23.
