Simon Monjack, the husband of Brittany Murphy, was found dead Sunday night at his Hollywood Hills home, police officials told the Los Angeles Times.
The cause of Monjack's death was unknown late Sunday night, the Times reported.
Public information officers did not immediately return messages left after midnight by TheWrap.
Sgt. Louie Lozano told the Times that detectives were still investigating.
Murphy died Dec. 20. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled that Murphy died of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
