The latest look at the "Fast & Furious" star's next big movie debuted during the movie's panel
Vin Diesel is all tied up in the latest trailer for "Riddick" that debuted at Comic-Con on Friday. But not for long.
The sequel to 2004 sci-fi flick "Chronicles of Riddick" returns to the planet audiences first met Diesal's signature character in 2000's "Pitch Black." Just as he's about to get his head chopped off by an angry bounty hunter (Jordi Mollà), his old man-eating alien friends come to the rescue and allow the mercenary to carry out his promise to his captors.
"Whatever happens, no matter what they tell you, when the chains come off, you go in the first five seconds," Diesel warns.
The third installment of David Twohy's franchise, which hits theaters on Sept. 6, also stars Karl Urban ("Star Trek Into Darkness") and Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica") as bounty hunters stuck on the familiar desert-like planet populated by dangerous alien predators.
