"Langley High" hasn't been published yet, but "Dark Knight" producer Charles Roven already has optioned the movie rights, the company announced Thursday.

The project practically drips with Hollywood credibility.

J.C. Spink, who founded the management firm Benderspink, produced "A History of Violence" and executive produced "The Hangover" movies, among others, came up with the idea for the graphic novel with his colleague Christopher Cosmos.

The graphic novel is about a student at Langley High School -- less than two miles from CIA headquarters.

When the young man's father is captured in Russia and disavowed as a CIA agent, the student teams with an undercover agent -- and Langley High School teacher -- and ends up on a mission of revenge.

Roven, who produced the "Batman" movies including "Batman Begins" and the "Dark Knight" films, along with "Twelve Monkeys" and "Get Smart," and is producing "Man of Steel," had his Atlas Entertainment option the movie. Atlas's Alex Gartner is also producing along with Benderspink.
