Dimension Films will make "Garden District," a vampire thriller set in New Orleans, the company said Thursday.
Anthony Jaswinski ("Vanishing on 7th Street") and Luke Goltz ("You and I") wrote the movie, about a trio of young myth-busters who go to New Orleans to investigate whether the video of a vampire's execution is real.

"This film reminds me of the early days of Dimension," Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of the Weinstein Co., said in a statement. "We look forward to making 'Garden District' as terrifying in theaters as it is on the page."
