"Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset" sequel picks up 18 years after Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy fell in love in Vienna
Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy are finally a couple in the first trailer for Richard Linklater's "Before Midnight," but for how much longer?
The third installment of the romance trilogy, which began in 1995 with "Before Sunrise" and continued in 2004 with "Before Sunset," appears to focus on relationship troubles that have arisen between the American and Parisian since "Sunset."
Hawke's character is no longer the reckless romantic he was when they met on a train 18 years ago and has a bad habit of ogling other women. Delpy's character may just be a little paranoid because, according to Hawke, she is "the mayor of crazy town."
The drama premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and debuts in theaters on May 24.
